The Annual Company Conference of Social Marketing Company (SMC) for FY – 2008 was held at a restaurant in the capital Dhaka on April 16, 2009. It was attended by all officials and graded staff posted to the Head Office. The conference commenced with the reading of the pledge of allegiance towards SMC by all the attendees, and was conducted by Head of Sales Mr. Sayedur Rahman. This was followed by a rendition of the National Anthem by a select group of officials.

SMC Managing Director in a short address on the occasion dwelt upon the achievements of the past one year. The MD urged the SMC staff members to be more aware of developments that take place within the organisation, and she also highlighted the achievements of the Company including SMC being awarded with two European awards for excellence in quality.

A sumptuous buffet lunch followed the Managing Director’s speech, and a raffle draw was also held after lunch. Managing Director and General Manager – Administration distributed prizes among the winners of the raffle draw.
