Our Factory

SMC has played a key role in expanding the use of oral rehydration therapy in the country. SMC’s ORS now accounts for more then 58 percent of all oral rehydration salts purchased from the retail outlets. In order to ensure the security of ever increasing demand of pre-packed ORS, SMC has established its own very modern ORS manufacturing facility which has gone into production in August 2004

	ORS manufacturing plant is located at Bhaluka, Mymensingh on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway (52 km from Dhaka city) Annual ORS production capacity is 208 million sachets.
