Sealed quotations are hereby invited by Social Marketing Company (SMC) 33, Banani C/A., Dhaka-1213 from reputed Printing and Packaging manufacturing Houses located at Dhaka and nearby Dhaka for supply of Printing and Packaging materials in our factory at Bhaluka, Mymensingh.

Tender documents will be issued on cash payment of Tk.500.00 (five hundred) only non-refundable on all working days during office hours (Sunday through Thursday) from 11.12.2011 to 21.12.2011. No tender documents will be issued after 21st December, 2011. 

Earnest money @ 1%(one percent) of the total quoted value in the form of Pay Order/Bank Draft from any scheduled Bank must be submitted along with the Tender without which the Tender shall be rejected outright.

Tenders will be received in the office of the undersigned up to 15:00 hours on 22nd December, 2011 and will be opened on the same day at 15:15 hours in presence of Bidders who may like to be present. No tender shall be received after the above mentioned date & time.

Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI)

Social Marketing Company (SMC) is dedicated in providing opportunities for better family health for the people by addressing issues of social priority. As a part of automation, SMC has various software to provide the state-of-the-art necessary information to the management regarding different functions of the organization like accounting, procurement, human resources, distribution, sales and inventory. SMC now invites EOI from agencies/firms willing to submit proposals for developing an integrated system for record keeping for (a) Production Planning & Monitoring and (b) Inventory & Quality Assurance of SMC factory.

The users of the proposed software will be the officials of SMC factory (situated at Bhaluka, Mymensingh) and officials of SMC Head office in Dhaka.  At present SMC is using 512 kbps radio link connection between Bhaluka Factory and Head office. The proposed new system can be a centralized or distributed system. It can be browser enabled or desktop application. Necessary integration between the new and existing system will be required.

The new system will be developed in phases – 1) Inventory and related Quality Assurance process to be developed in the first phase 2) Production Planning & Monitoring to be developed in the final phase.

The interested agencies/firms will send their EOI to Manager, Procurement, SMC, 33 Banani C/A, Dhaka-1213, Bangladesh in an envelope superscribed “Expression of Interest for Factory Software”.

The EOI will be limited within three pages – one page cover letter and two-page brief overview of the organization.

The cover letter should include the following:
One paragraph regarding the understanding of the proposed work
Mention the estimated timeframe to complete the task
Information regarding trade license, TIN Number and VAT Registration Number

The two-page brief overview should include the following:
Company profile – to include financial standing and volume of work completed;
Organization set-up with details of professional expertise available; and
Detail experience and list of similar projects executed in the last three years

Due date:  Within 15 days of publishing EOI

Short-listed qualified Agencies/Organizations will receive Request for Proposal (RFP) for submitting detail technical and cost proposals.

Notice for Pre-qualification of contractors/construction firms 

Applications are invited from reputed contractors/construction firms for pre-qualification of contractors for the Vertical Extension of  the building SMC Tower located at 33, Banani Commercial Area, Dhaka-1213.

Contractors/Construction firms who have successfully completed the following within the last 10(ten) years are eligible to apply :-

a.         Superstructure works including water supply, sanitary & plumbing work for at least one commercial building 10 storey or above in a single tender under Govt., Semi-govt., Autonomous bodies, Banks or/and reputed  private/multinational organizations.

b.         Vertical Extension of minimum 5-stories over existing commercial/office building under Govt., Semi-govt or reputed private/multinational organization costing at the minimum 5.00 crore Taka.

Intending contractors/ construction firms may form a  Consortium or Association with other firms to become eligible for the submission of the  application as stated against  a & b above.

Intending contractors/ construction firms are requested to obtain a prescribed application form for Pre-qualification from the office of the undersigned at 33, Banani Commercial Area, Dhaka-1213 between 10th July, 2011 and 26th July, 2011 during office hours on payment of Tk. 500.00 (non refundable) only and showing  documentary evidence as to their eligibility as stated against a & b above.

Application Form for pre-qualification duly filled in shall be received in the office of the undersigned upto 12.00 PM 27th  July, 2011. The applicants will have to submit the application for pre-qualification in TWO Copies, one of which will be marked as ORIGINAL and the other as DUPLICATE on top right corner of the envelopes.

TENDER NOTICE FOR SUPPLY OF VEHICLES

Sealed quotations are hereby invited by Social Marketing Company from the manufacturers or their Agents in Bangladesh  for supply of the following vehicles of reputed brands :-

1.         Jeep: 4 (four) units

Interested bidders should  apply  for  Tender schedule to the undersigned along with the following documents :-
(1)Valid Trade License, (2) TIN Certificate, (3)  VAT Registration, (4) Company Profile & (5)  Dealership/Distributorship certificate.

Tender schedule will be issued to the eligible bidders within 7th July, 2011 on all working days (Sunday through Thursday) during office hours (8:30 AM to 5:15 PM). Sealed quotations should  be dropped in the tender box kept in the office of undersigned upto 3.00 PM on  10th July, 2011 and will be opened on the same day at 3:15 PM in presence of bidder(s) if any.
