Minicon is a progestin-only pill (POP), which is suitable for lactating mothers.

Presence of estrogen in contraceptive pill would suppress production of mother’s milk and consequently was not recommended for lactating mothers. On this background, SMC introduced Minicon, a progestin-only oral contraceptive pill, which is suitable for lactating mothers.

  • Each blister of Minicon contains 28 hormone tablets
  • Each pack of Minicon contains a blister with an insert (instruction sheet).
