Mr. Siddiqur Rahman Choudhury, Honorable Chairman, Board of Directors, SMC and SMC Enterprise Limited has praised the contribution of Community Sales Agents (CSAs) in the society. The Chairman made these remarks while attending a CSA meeting at Baraigram in Natore district on October 19 and at Kamalganj in Moulvibazar district on October 24, 2018. CSAs are women entrepreneurs selected from rural communities. They visit the households to disseminate public health information and sell SMC’s public health priority products. They are a major part of the “Notun Din” Community Mobilization program of SMC. Mr. Choudhury praised the CSAs for stepping out of house for the welfare of the society and generating income for their families. 

Hon’ble Chairman visited Rajshahi, Rangpur and Bogura Area Offices from October 17 - 19, 2018 where Regional Manager, North and Sales Managers presented their achievements and ongoing sales and program activities. He highly appreciated the efforts of all team members of the North region for taking additional initiatives to strengthen the market share of our new products. Mr. Choudhury also visited a Blue Star Provider at Gobindagonj in Gaibandha and attended a meeting of Married Women of Reproductive Age (MWRA) in Lalpur, Natore. Mr. Md. Ali Reza Khan, Managing Director & CEO and Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, Chief of Program Operations of SMC accompanied the Chairman. 

Mr. Choudhury also visited SMC’s sales and program operations in Sylhet from October 23-24, 2018. Mr. Sayedur Rahman, General Manager, Sales and Field Promotion, SMC EL accompanied him during his visit. He visited Sylhet Area Office on October 23 and a Blue Star outlet at Mogla Bazar under South Surma Upazila the following day.
