Marketing Skills Building Workshop

Population Services International (PSI), an US based organization, is the technical partner of USAID supported Marketing Innovations for Sustainable Health  Development (MISHD) project. As a part of strategic engagement, PSI conducted a four-day training for relevant program staff to improve their knowledge on modern marketing techniques and skills. The training was held at SMC Head Office during September 12-15, 2022.

PSI assigned two international technical experts, Mr. Christopher Montague Hermann and Mr. Kannimangalam Ramakrishnan Subrahmany to conduct the training sessions. The sessions were participatory and interactive with the provisions of open discussions, group works, plenary presentations and others. Participants highly appreciated the timely initiative of SMC for aiming to improve their knowledge on modern marketing approaches and techniques. All the 18 participants successfully completed the training and received certificates. Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, MD & CEO of SMC handed over the certificates among the participants and suggested to organize more capacity building trainings on  different issues in future for the staff in collaboration with PSI and other organizations. He further emphasized on revising the current marketing strategies to make them more useful and actionable by utilizing their updated learnings.
