A Retreat Workshop of SMC’s MIH Program Team along with 34 participants from its four partner organizations – BRAC, Shimantik, PSTC and CWFD was held from 11-14 August 2014 in Hillside Resort, Bandarban.

The key objective of this workshop was to review the community mobilization and BCC activities that have been accomplished so far and to refine or re-engineer the activities & processes based on its lessons.

The workshop included among other things, group work, presentations, and demonstrations which helped enhance the quality and effectiveness of the community mobilization and BCC activities. It was an opportunity to enhance interaction among the participants.

The workshop was attended among others, by Mr. Shafi Uddin Ahmed, FCA, Chief Financial Officer, SMC; Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, General Manager-Program, Dr. Abu Zaffar Muhammad Zahidur Rahman, Head of BCC and other officials of SMC and its partners.
