500 umbrellas handed over to traffic police
June to September is recognized as a hot, humid and rainy season in Bangladesh. Therefore demand for umbrellas goes up naturally. On the request of the Deputy Police Commissioner (Traffic-East), Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), SMC donated 500 umbrellas that would be used by the traffic police constables to protect themselves from the intense rain and sunshine during the summer season. The umbrellas were branded with SMC’s ORSaline-N logo. Members from the SMC Marketing and Corporate Affairs team handed over the umbrellas to the officials of Traffic-East Division of DMP in September 2015.
