Our effort continues to popularize LARC
SMC is implementing Pink Star Program to offer IUD and Implant services through private sector doctors under USAID-Marketing Innovations for Sustainable Health Development Program. An experience sharing and performance review meeting with doctors of Pink Star Program of Mymensingh region was held on July 9, 2018. The meeting reviewed performance of providers, shared best practices, lessons learned and discussed on ways forward to improve performance of Long Acting and Reversible Contraceptives through them. Civil Surgeon of Mymensingh, Dr. A. K. M. Abdur Rob; Chief of Program Operations of SMC, Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan; immediate past Secretary General of Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Bangladesh Prof. Farhana Dewan were among others who attended the event.
