SMC Celebrated International Women’s Day 2022
A call-to-action to challenge the status quo by raising awareness against bias, celebrating women's achievement, and taking action for equality, with the theme ‘BreakTheBias', the International Women's Day-2022 is observed throughout the world on March 8, 2022.
Like previous years, SMC celebrated the occasion at its Head Office. All employees, especially the women employees from both SMC and SMC EL participated in the colorful event. The enormous contribution and achievement of women in society, at home, at work were discussed with great importance and also their contributory role to raise awareness against bias.
An open platform was offered to all women employees to share their views, and stories on becoming significant contributors in every role. Women's achievement in different fields was also highlighted and respectfully acknowledged in this open forum of the program. The Honorable Managing Director, SMC EL and the Deputy Managing Director, SMC, with other senior Management of SMC and SMC EL, graced the impactful program with their presence.
