Adolescent Health Campaign

The adolescent health program is one of the flagship initiatives of SMC program operations implemented by four national NGOs in 93 Upazilas under USAID-MISHD and SMC fund. SMC has been implementing the special campaign since May 2022 targeting adolescent girls and boys. As part of the campaign, health sessions are conducted at educational institutions (schools, colleges &madrashas) and community levels.
The main purpose of the adolescent health campaign was to raise awareness on pressing health, hygiene and nutrition issues as well as prevention of child marriage. Approximately, five lac adolescent girls and boys will be reached through this campaign by the end of August 2022.
