Chairman of SMC Board observed Program Activities in Chattogram
Mr. Waliul Islam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMC and SMC-EL, attended the monthly meeting of Gold Star Members (GSMs) in the Chattogram urban area implemented by Shimantik on June 5, 2022. Mr. Md. Ali Reza Khan, MD & CEO and Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, Deputy Managing Director of SMC accompanied him during his visit. Based on positive experience in rural areas, SMC has started Gold Star program in Chattogram urban areas. The Chairman expressed his satisfaction observing the urban GSM program and the associated Community Mobilization activities. He also attended a training event of Green Star Network in Chattogram and suggested the providers continue their efforts to improve the health status of their communities.
