Experience Sharing and Performance Review Meeting of Blue Star Network
SMC organizes the ‘Experience Sharing and Performance Review Meeting' with the Blue Star Providers (BSPs) in different areas around the year. The objectives of these meetings are to share best practices, progresses, lessons learned, recognize good performers and collate suggestions of BSPs to improve program performance in future. Two meetings were conducted in Kushtia on August 21-22, 2022 accommodating a total of 622 BSPs from Kushtia, Chuadanga, Meherpur, Faridpur, Rajbari, Jhenaidah and Magura districts. In the meeting, 20 BSPs were awarded for their outstanding performances. Mr. Khandaker Safiqul Islam, Deputy Director, Family Planning and Dr. Ferdousi Sultana, Assistant Director, Clinical Contraception, Kushtia were present in both the meetings. Another meeting was held on September 26, 2022 in Chattogram. A total of 239 providers from Cox's Bazar, Bandarban and Chattogram districts attended the meeting where seven BSPs received special recognition as best performers. Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, Managing Director & CEO (Acting) and other senior officials of SMC were also present in this meeting. Mr. Habibur Rahman, Divisional Director, Family Planning attended the event and appreciated the providers for their contribution to the national health and family planning program.
