Program Review Meeting of LARC Counselors
SMC organized program review meeting for the Long-acting Reversible Contraceptive (LARC) Counselors at SMC Head Office on September 4, 2022. The meeting focused to improve the interpersonal communication (IPC) skills of Counselors, review their performances and identify challenges with possible solutions. A total of 40 Counselors attended the session who are working across the country. Dr. Jahir Uddin Ahmed, Director, SMC Board graced the session and highlighted social aspects of LARC. Mr. Ahmed facilitated a session on counseling and communication issues as he has long experience in the field of family planning. Mr. Toslim Uddin Khan, MD & CEO, SMC also attended the event and shared his thoughts with the participants.
