SMC Stands By the Victims of the Savar Tragedy
Social Marketing Company (SMC) has stood beside the victims of the Rana Plaza building collapse in Savar, which is regarded as one of the worst accidents in human history.
SMC has donated Tk. 8 lakh to the disabled victims of the tragedy and the amount was equally disbursed to 16 victims at the Enam Medical College Hospital premises in Savar on May 15, 2013.
Chief Financial Officer of Social Marketing Company Mr. Shafi Uddin Ahmed, FCA, disbursed the amounts to the victims at the hospital in presence of SMC’s General Manager, Administration, Mr. Sekander Hayat Khan.
